The kids of today will never know the fun of actual cutting and pasting, photocopying and Letraset, put it all together and what do you get? .. Fanzines! (pictured right)
One the Juggler had a very active fanclub, firstly run by fellow fan David O'Reilly of Nuneaton, and then by Tracee McVeigh and smarty loving Joby the much adored spaniel .
David produced the first fanzine in November 1983 called Passion Killer packed with news and photos etc.
Tracee produced another 3 newsletters jam packed with news,Rokko's poems, the story of tarot cards and the introduction of Lushi's dog Smidge, ah! The average age of it's members was said to be 19, so they'll all be 40 somethings now!
You don't have to been in the fanclub, but if you've got memories of One the Juggler gigs and records, and would like to share them with other fans, please contact me. Join the rogues gallery to the left. Any pictures or scans of memorabilia would be fantastic too. Or if you just want to leave a comment that would be great too.
I would especially love to hear from Sue Garnett, Tracee McVeigh and David O'Reilly. |
