One the Juggler live at the Amersham Arms Friday 6th April 2007 Well it finally happened, although I still can't believe it, and boy it was one fantastic night, they really socked it to us real Juggler style. When I first heard Lin play the first few notes on his wild guitar, I was honestly moved to tears, I never dreamed I would ever hear them played again. After a slight fluff on the first song, Enjoy Yourself, the rest of the show just flowed wonderfully! You wouldn't have believed that the band had only had one rehearsal with Sham, what with him living on the other side of the world in Woodstock. They played with so much energy, and were so fresh. Sham's still strutting and kicking, and gave his best ever performance. There was so much One the Juggler love, the crowd knew all the words, and it was a frenzy from start to finish of hip shaking, stomping and chanting. Each song an anthem with them ever favourite bouncy bass lines and with Trimmer on sax, it was just so, so perfect. A guest appearance from ex-drummer Travis and Pinky (Steve Alu, One the Juggler road manager and producer) on backing vocals completed the old One the Juggler family. Line-up - Lushi, Sham Morris (Rokko), Lin Minchin (wild guitar), Bob Nanook, and Ian Trimmer with special guest appearance from Travis. Support - Joe Acres Band, the Reign Parade. Set List - Enjoy Yourself Looking forward to getting your comments, reviews, pictures, video clips etc. Meanwhile I will start to get the photos uploaded, enjoy! And thanks to everyone for your support for the web site, everyone's been so kind, really appreciated, cheers. |
